Raajje Inspired Earrings

Earrings made out of recycled sketchbooks and boards
I’ve learnt to be inspired by things lying around me – especially during the pandemic, when we were all confined to our homes. Since I was not able to go out and buy canvases, I started painting on other materials like cardboard and fused plastics, which I really enjoyed.
The pandemic also led me to create the “Raajje Inspired Earrings” made out of old sketchbooks and scraps of old boards I used for my interior design models. The earrings are a result of an abstract representation of the geographical map of the Maldives.
